Ever wondered which robot is the most powerful in all of TV and movie history?

Neither have I, but I was sitting around in my office trying not to do any work and I started to wonder if XJ9 could kick some serious robot butt. She could easily take apart the "Lost in Space" robot and those wimps C3PO and R2D2. I hereby issue a challenge. If you know of a robot who could beat Jenny, post it here.

Until then, XJ9 rulesPosted by Hello

Gort!

XJWriter said...

Gort? You're kidding right? That's a guy in a cardboard costume who can barely walk. Jenny would blast him in two and send him home to his momma.

Honestly, I dont think theres a single robot in the universe that could take on Jenny

R.Radna said...

Unicron probably has the best odds.

Jenny would probably also find 'Kanti' (the robot with a television screen for a face from 'fooly cooly' [FLCL]) a challenging opponent in battle.

Although it's rather off-topic, here are some of the robots that Jenny would have the absolute least difficulty defeating:

1)Zaxxon
2)Asimo
3)S.A.M. the Robot [Super-AutoMated](Unpopular 70's 'sesame street' character)
4)Bender
5)V.I.N.cent [Vital Information Necessary](from the disney film 'The Black Hole')
6)Tom Servo (Mystery Science Theatre 3000)
7)The Wizard of Fries (Robot from a long discontinued series of 80s fast food commercials)
8)Marvin the Paranoid Android (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
9)W.O.P.R. [War Operations Planned Response](from War Games)
10)A cluster-infected colecovision

XJWriter said...

Okay, some people have WAY too much time on their hands... and I love it. Although to be fair, whose to say Tom Servo couldn't win Jenny over with his quick wit and cavalier attitude, continually talking until she runs out of battery power and collapses?

R.Radna said...

Of course, but whether correctly or not, I assumed we were talking about purely physical combat, and not a 'battle of the wits.' For a mental challenge, I guess R. Daneel Olivaw from Isaac Asimov's foundation would be among the most formidable opponents in, say, a debate, particularly in the form he developed into by the end of the Foundation books written by Asimov (I think there were Foundation books written by others after his death, but I have not read them).

Sorry, Jenny, but I agree with R.Randa. GO BENDER!

R.Radna said...

Just a minor correction, Bender was from my list of robots who Jenny would probably beat rather easily. It's nothing against Bender; he just isn't built for combat.

The only robots I was able to think of that would be a challenge for Jenny were Unicron, Kanti, and R. Danieel Olivaw. Other than that, I couldn't think of any.

Cyberhick said...

Oh. In that case, how about Metal Sonic? He could give Jenny a good fight!

R.Radna said...

I don't know, because I havn't seen that one. I watched STH in college and there wasn't a 'metal sonic' on the show then, there was just a robot chicken, a robot mole, and a robot monkey. I know there's a new STH cartoon now but I havn't been watching it lately. So all I can say is I don't have enough information.

"Sonic the Hedgehog" is also a game series. I don't get a chance to watch the new show (Sonic X) either. But that's alright since everybody who does watch it says it's "boring." But how could a show that features newer Sonic characters (Shadow, Big the Cat, Cream, and most importantly, Amy) be boring? But, by what I know, Metal Sonic doesn't make appearences in the new show. It's so cool you watched one of the old shows. I didn't watch the old show when it originally aired, but I do watch the show on tape! It's so funny.

R.Radna said...

Well, the new show is more of an action/adventure/light drama deal, with not as much comic relief as the previous show (I'm not talking about sonic underground, but the one before that I was talking about before). Yeah, there's still a joke here and there, but that's not really what the show's about. So, at least for me anyway, it's just not as much fun. But I could be wrong and maybe I should give it a second chance.

As for getting to see the earlier one, I think that was actually the second series of it that didn't have as good animation as the original, so it was cool to get to see it, but I never saw the original one that was supposed to be better-produced. I remember during the period after it went off the air for a few years, that once I actually had a dream I was watching tv and there was a big question mark on the screen and the voiceover said "Is sonic coming back to tv?" or something like that, so I guess I missed it. I should probably start watching again.

R.Radna - Metal Sonic was in a cartoon entitled Sonic OVA. I may obtain that guide at TVTome.com tomorrow if all goes well. It has been turned into a movie entitled Sonic the Hedgehog-The Movie and may be found at Blockbuster Video.

I'm not asking for your pitty because we got our ownselfs into this mess but we would love you and thank you in our prayers if you would just keep this link on your blog for others to view.

God Bless You.
