ENTER WAKEMAN'S WORLD. Our conference room is currently covered with background images for an episode called "Armagedroid," including this one for Wakeman's first aid station. Not that I wouldn't trust the esteemed Dr. Noreen Wakeman, but I'd still be a bit leery to enter this place for a check up.  Posted by Hello

That machine, on the right, looks like the one from "Speak No Evil" when Nora used it on Jenny to find out what was wrong with her. The rest of the background looks cool! Maybe I should get a check up in there.

I LOVE THE ILLUSTRATIONS! How do you come up with the shapes and stuff?

According to an AWN article concerning the show's premiere that apparently drew upon an interview with Mr. Renzetti, a factor that influences the show's graphic design is "the general look of 1930s cartoons (especially the Fleischer Studios stuff) and also the UPA house style of the 1950s. We've tried to incorporate '30s design elements into a more flat, graphic show style.'" I'm not sure exactly how that specifically translates into elements of this drawing, but I think that this drawing demonstrates that influence.

Chris Tsirgiotis, one of our two amazing staff background designers did this one.

Cool! I'm a huge Dr. Wakeman fan! The machine on the right DOES look like the one from Speak No Evil, but I think I would just want to run the machinery, not get checked out with it!
