MORE TEENAGE ROBOTS! I thought you guys might want to know that another company (not Nick) is developing a show about four robot girls going to high school to learn all they can about being a teenager. Hmmm? That sounds vaguely familiar. Where have I seen something like that before? Posted by Hello

If they're trying to imitate your team, they have a tough act to follow.

I hope they're not imitating your show.

I went to one of their websites, and it said "2002," so it's not clear if this is actually "jumping on the bandwagon" or whatever.

Atomic Betty reminded me of the show a lot too, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a rip either. Certainly some of the art looks very "inspired by. . ."

Of course, if they are it won't be the first time . . . Disney came out with "recess" so someone else came out with "detention," hasbro came up with transformers so someone else came out with go-bots, someone came up with legos, so someone else came out with 0937s (if you turn the box upside down, the number looks like "lego." I swear this is a real knockoff). And on and on. . . .

It may be inevitable, but probably anything that's successful is doomed to get ripped off to some degree.

Every good tv show ends up with a crappy rip off. It's actually a good sign the way I think of it, that people are copying off of MLaaTR, because it proves that the show is popular!

Isnt Disney making a show about a girl teenage robot+cat+alien who tries to fit in at ahigh school?

Yep, I remember the first modern show on the cartoon channels that had a outsider robot going to school and trying to fit in. It was called Whatever Happened To Robot Jones.

oh! you mean cartoon network! hehe yeah that show never quiet made it.....but yeah i can't really see disney making a show about a robot....this is why they have Kim Possible lol but anyways if disney should ever do that....it won't last for some reason....but yeah i'm quiet now lol

We've all overlooked something. Judging from their headgear, the 'cosmic cuties' are also robo-telemarketers, likely with built in war-dialing capability.

Just when you thought it was safe to eat dinner again . . .

::sigh:: Robot Jones. That was a great show till they changed his voice.

I agree, it was great till they changed the voice of Robot Jones, Changed the shot, changed the pacing of the story, changed the music, all around it suffered the fate as "Mina and the Count" great show ruined when they tryed to "Hip" it up, tre sad tre, tre sad.

I throw a french fry in their one big ugly eye. Blech!
