TEENAGE ROBOT SHUT OUT AT OSCARS! Despite a stellar year for My Life as a Teenage Robot, the popular and critically acclaimed show walked away without a single Academy Award at the end of the three hour plus awards ceremony in Hollywood last night. Fans were outraged that the groundbreaking show wasn't given the recognition it deserved. An Academy spokesman pointed out that the Oscars are only given to feature films, not television shows, but his excuses fell on deaf ears for the throngs of Jenny fans protesting outside the Kodak Theater.  Posted by Hello

JENNY'S BACK TO NINE. Just to keep you updated, MLAATR is back to it's 9:00 air time tonight. Hopefully it will stay there for a while. Tonight is "Dancing with my Shell" and the fan favorite "Around the World in Eighty Pieces." Posted by Hello

THIRD SEASON WARNING! For those of you looking forward to the rest of the second season episodes and even the third season episodes, I need to warn you. We don't have money in the budget to refurbish Jenny, so as the episodes progress, you will begin to see the wear and tear that naturally accumulates in her line of work. By the start of the third season, she will not be the bright and shining robot you're used to. Sorry, but that's the state of animation today. Just remember that even if she sports a few extra dents and loses a limb or two, she's still the XJ9 we all know and love. Sort of.

THE BRADINATOR PRESENTS: MORE TITLE TRIVIA!!! Here is a list of five unaired, second season episodes with their original titles: A Place of Her Own; Enter the Can; Play Misty With Me; Action Jenny; Comet Goddess. Can you match those original titles with the revised titles that will appear on the actual episodes??? Here are your choices: A Pain in My Sidekick; Toying with Jenny; Crash Pad Crash; Teen Idol; Teenage Mutant Ninja Troubles. Good luck! Posted by Hello

FANS STEAMING MAD OVER SECOND SEASON! Actually, nobody is mad, but I had the picture of steam-powered Jenny and couldn't think of a better title. The only thing that might get our fans upset is that we've got a few months to wait before new second season episodes air. Nickelodeon gave MLaaTR fans an amazing gift by airing five new episodes in a row, but they burned through all the ones that were ready. Now they have to wait for the Korean animation team to catch up. Our best guess is that new shows will air sometime this Spring. We'll keep you posted.  Posted by Hello

TIME TRAVEL. Yes, I've got an update on the traveling Teenage Robot time slot. Today, Friday the 18th, we'll be on at 8:30 (or as close to 8:30 as U Pick gets us). Then next Friday the 25th, we'll be on at 9:00 again. And I believe Nick will repeat the episodes at noon on Saturday and Sunday. As always, check your listings to make sure and I'll keep giving you guys information as I get it. Time to go!

STORYBOARD PITCHES GALORE. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, three different board artists are pitching three all new episodes for the third season. This picture is from Heather's board of "Tuckered Out." Today John pitches "No Harmony with Melody" and tomorrow Chris pitches "I Fought the Law." All titles subject to change and derision.  Posted by Hello

GO TO SLEEP EARLY!!! No, wait, DON'T SLEEP AT ALL!!! The latest and greatest information from our fearless leader Rob Renzetti is that our new 9:00 time slot is not set in stone. In fact, MLaaTR may be shifting again... and again... depending on the upcoming premieres. That darned Avatar may push us one way or the other. So our advice: Leave Nickelodeon on all day long and keep checking your local listings for times in your area. And if we're not on when we're supposed to be, check back in 30 minutes and we may be. That's the way to build a fan base! Posted by Hello
LATE NIGHT WITH JENNY WAKEMAN! XJ9 and her posse have moved to late night. Yep, the big wigs at Nick have seen fit to stick us in the 9:00 slot. And, at least for last Friday, NOBODY WATCHED!! Our ratings dropped with the time change. So you loyal fans have to let all of your friends, family, pets, and email-chain-letter-participants know that we're worth staying up late for! Heck yeah! MLaaTR rules! Posted by Hello

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FROM TEENAGE ROBOT! This sentimental, if creepy, illustration by Coyoteloon sets the perfect tone for this Hallmark holiday. Will U B Mine? Posted by Hello

TEEN ROBOT COMICS! MLaaTR fans are always asking about merchandise for the show, but Nick hasn't gotten on board yet. (Come on guys! A "Nora Wakeman: Skyway Patrol" calendar would sell through the roof!) But yesterday someone on the blog asked about comic books, and I do have some good news for you. Several of us here at MLaaTR are working with Nickelodeon magazine to create some short Teenage Robot comics in the magazine. I don't have any publishing dates yet, but as soon as I find out, I'll let you guys know.  Posted by Hello

Happy Chinese New Year! This fan art comes to us from "Your loyal MLaaTR fan, Z-Lady a.k.a. Zoe." We're celebrating the holiday tonight with a special screening of "Avatar," a new series from Nickelodeon. I'd prefer to stick a big dragon head on Jenny and have her run around the studio, but that's just me.

TITLE TRIVIA FOR THE DIE-HARD FANS! Okay, so you've all watched the new episodes and know more about them than you do about your own families... BUT did you know that some of the episodes were originally known by other titles? Try to match these original titles to the second season shows they once belonged to: DAF-y Draftee; Not-So-Great Expectations; He Be Doggin'; Slumber Mode; Dance Fever; Come Together.  Posted by Hello

FAN ART FROM CANDY ROBOT... and some news! Starting this Friday, the 11th, Teenage Robot will be airing 30 minutes later than usual. For me, that means 9:00 PM instead of 8:30 PM, but check your local listings. Nick is also scheduled to start repeating the episodes on Saturday, starting this Saturday! Posted by Hello

ANOTHER GEM DOWN THE TOILET. Once again we present a piece of comic genius that will never see the light of day. This was from a third season episode called "There's No Place Like Home School" where Jenny blows a hole in the school wall, but is relieved to see no one got hurt. Then two eyes open up in the soot and an angry Razinsky steps out of the darkness. It would've been funny but it didn't work in the overall story. Now you blog readers will be the only fans to ever lay eyes on it.  Posted by Hello

FAN ART SOARS! Look! Up in the sky. It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a Global Robotic Response Unit, number XJ9! I think this is the first fan art we've gotten that comes with it's own inspirational quote... and the first one where Brad's head is on fire.  Posted by Hello

I'm sure by now you've seen the tabloids, but representatives for both Brad and Jenny deny the rumors. MLAATR and Nickelodeon will be making an official statement to the press later today. Posted by Hello
