Or any other MLAATR characters being portrayed at the ComicCon? I know it's probably too soon to have people making TR costumes but I can hope, can't I? Unfortunately I couldn't make it down to San Diego this year so I'm hoping any fans that go can report back if they see any other fans dressed in metallic blue and white. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
I was thinking of trying to make a Jenny kiss doll.
ReplyDeletespeaking of costumes and dolls and stuff, will there ever be a TR line of toys? i think a series of vinyl figurines would be cool
ReplyDeleteI believe a convincing adult-sized Jenny costume would be rather difficult to accomplish because of the proportions between the body and the head; someone who attempted this would probably either come out looking more like XJ8, or have an insanely large head . . . then again, I could always be wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt will still be a little while before we see any official TR merchandise. The size and scope of things will depend on how well the show continues to do. I'm as anxious as anyone else to see a Jenny action figure. So much so that we've written an episode where Jenny action figures are made. Hopefully Life will imitate Art!
ReplyDeleteNo such luck on seeing any costumes there. I think Nora would be fun to do if anything. I'm sure many of us at the convention could have passed as a Sheldon though! lol.
ReplyDeleteNo Jenny costumes, but there were a few robots in the big masquerade. One Sorayama-esque robot, a Metropolis inspired 'Electric Venus' and Futurama's favorite alcoholic, Bender, in a parody of the Star Wars robot buying scene (extrememly funny!). Maybe next year we'll see a live version of our Miss XJ9. :)
