You created MLAATR. Second season of WHTRJ is coming out. CN's spies sees your work and the heroine sounds human. So the creator of WHTRJ decided to make Robot Jones' voice sound like a kid (except it is electronic). WHTRJ went downhill, and your show got attention from viewers like us.
Now CN is creating ROBOTBOY. Beware Rob Renzeti. Beware! Your show is in the brink of cancellation!
I know there is an assasin for hire today at 9 on Cartoon Network (i.e. ROBOT BOY).

The company announced Tuesday it was renewing the popular cartoon for a fourth season, MediaWeek.com reported.
Fans mounted a "Save Kim Possible" blitz that included petitions as well as an online write-in campaign, MediaWeek said.
The show has been a top draw for the Disney Channel, Toon Disney and the ABC Kids daytime programming block, MediaWeek noted.
Production on season four will begin in the next few weeks."

Ha! I discovered that Robotboy is a MLAATR rip-off from France! This could mean that MLAATR was so popular that there was a rip-off. Smell a law-suit?

Rip-off or not, it may or may not be a good or bad show. The flintstones was (were?) a ripoff of the honeymooners. The Monkees were a ripoff of the Beatles. Batfink was a ripoff of Batman . . . err, you get the idea.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I don't plan to set aside any particular time to catch Robot Boy, but I do try to give new cartoons a chance, even if it's sometimes the one and only time I'll watch. But yeah, I saw the ads and the first thing I said to myself was "Hm, where have I seen this before . . . I wonder if there's another show that's kind of like that . . . "
Of course, I also thought the same thing when I saw the ads for Atomic Betty, but this is even more similar since it's also a robot.
