Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and a Robotic New Year

Tried to get some Alex artwork up over the last couple days but Blogspot is not cooperating. Will try again in 2006, after we get back from our winterbreak. In the meantime check out our new 2006 calenadar at Cafe Press.

Thanks for the show and all the hard work. This series in one of my real delights in life and the christmas episode (which I had not seen before) was a real treat for the holidays.

Rob Renzeti, please beware! ROBOTBOY is Cartoon Network's way of getting revenge on your creation for what you did to WHATEVER HAPPENED TO ROBOT JONES?

    Here's the story.
You created MLAATR. Second season of WHTRJ is coming out. CN's spies sees your work and the heroine sounds human. So the creator of WHTRJ decided to make Robot Jones' voice sound like a kid (except it is electronic). WHTRJ went downhill, and your show got attention from viewers like us.

Now CN is creating ROBOTBOY. Beware Rob Renzeti. Beware! Your show is in the brink of cancellation!

There is sill hope for a season 4. Kim Possible that was in the same case (ended at the season 3) will have a new season. Here's the news :

"Fans of the Disney Channel's "Kim Possible" have convinced The Walt Disney Co. to reverse its policy of limiting animated series to three seasons.

The company announced Tuesday it was renewing the popular cartoon for a fourth season, MediaWeek.com reported.

Fans mounted a "Save Kim Possible" blitz that included petitions as well as an online write-in campaign, MediaWeek said.

The show has been a top draw for the Disney Channel, Toon Disney and the ABC Kids daytime programming block, MediaWeek noted.

Production on season four will begin in the next few weeks."

    Keep working to save xj9!!!

Ha! I discovered that Robotboy is a MLAATR rip-off from France! This could mean that MLAATR was so popular that there was a rip-off. Smell a law-suit?

    Sure.

    See what I mean.

  16. Rip-off or not, it may or may not be a good or bad show. The flintstones was (were?) a ripoff of the honeymooners. The Monkees were a ripoff of the Beatles. Batfink was a ripoff of Batman . . . err, you get the idea.

That being said, I don't plan to set aside any particular time to catch Robot Boy, but I do try to give new cartoons a chance, even if it's sometimes the one and only time I'll watch. But yeah, I saw the ads and the first thing I said to myself was "Hm, where have I seen this before . . . I wonder if there's another show that's kind of like that . . . "

Of course, I also thought the same thing when I saw the ads for Atomic Betty, but this is even more similar since it's also a robot.
