I thought that it might be interesting to note that Jenny's evolution didn't stop when the series began. As a design is finally put to the test by a team of artists there is usually a natural streamlining and strengthening process that happens, and sometimes it takes the model sheets a season or so to catch up. Here's a comparisson of the seasons one and two xj9's. The individual differences are subtle, but the overall effect is (hopefully) more appealing.
More intersting stuff
ReplyDeleteI did notice the slightly larger head compared to the rest of her body and the larger part of her face taken up by the eyes. It's very interesting to see the other changes. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the off-topic post, but I've noticed that there's a petition on the "blab" section of the nick.com site to save the show. Thought it'd be appropriate to post here in case roblog users (like myself until recently) didn't know about it.

Sorry about the second post - I forgot to paste in the url!!!

That's me that started that petition. (Jessie Winkler/Wakeman, RoboJessie. Get it?) I'm flattered that someone posted that. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I needed to do something big to help, and petitions on nick.com usually work. I tried one for new episodes (that had already been produced) to be shown, and we got a whole week of new episodes! If anyone has questions on the petition, nickmail me (RoboJessie)!
And I did notice those changes! Along with the background! Did anyone notice that in the first season Jenny's poster's were black and white and her walls were purple in season 1, but the walls were pink and the posters were colored in season 2? Guess the characters aren't the only ones who get makeovers!
