Tried to get some Alex artwork up over the last couple days but Blogspot is not cooperating. Will try again in 2006, after we get back from our winterbreak. In the meantime check out our new 2006 calenadar at Cafe Press.

Annie Nominations Are In!
And MLAATR received 3 nominations. In addition to the general "Best TV Show" category, Alex Kirwan recieved a nomination for Production Design and Bryan Arnett got one for Character Design. Bryan is soft spoken but oh so talented with a pencil (and a golf club). You may recognize these Arnett designs from our one hour special.

Tricky Treats
Its tricky figuring out this computer stuff! But I finally found a way to serve up some belated Halloween visual treats for all of you. Some may remember the giant UFO from last year. This year we had the spacecraft land right in the middle of Tremorton and boy is the town worse off for it. Many thanks to everyone on the crew including Alex (Hamburglar) Kirwan for leading the design team and Randy (Underdog) Myers for documenting it all.

Make your voice heard!
Several people have inquired about how they can contact Nick. I amm reposting the anonymous tip from the last post.
Mr. Herb Scannell
President, Nickelodeon
1515 Broadway
New York, NY 10036
If you happen to live in New York, or if you can afford a long distance phone call. Viewers can voice complaints with the following number.
(212) 258-7579
Nickelodeon apparently doesn't have a viewer feedback e-mail. But you can give them feedback about cancelling My Life as a Teenage Robot on their web site at:

XJWriter is No More!
When the show did not get picked up for a fourth season his work was done. He has moved on to another show at a different company. He was the one that did the daily updates as many of you are well aware. Unfortunately I am still swamped producing the show and it is hard for me to squeak out any time to post. Please be patient with us!! As the show winds down I will have more time and I should be able to do more with the blog.

Band Aids and Teenage Robots
You know how it's best to remove a band aid quickly rather than try to minimize the pain by going slow?
There will be no fourth season of Teenage Robot.
The executives love the show but the ratings aren't good enough for them to give us more episodes. We've known for quite awhile and I apologize for not letting you all know sooner but it I didn't want to dampen the enthusiasm you all have for the show. It really lifts my spirits to read your posts.
On the plus side, there are still many unaired episodes of Teenage Robot yet to come. Some of our best, I think. So please keep watching and spreading the word about Jenny. If the ratings improve over time who knows...
SpongeBob's original run was only three seasons as well ;)

Calling All Webmasters!!
Do you run a MLAATR fan site? IF so, when's the last time you posted new material? Would you like to see "Escape from Cluster Prime" on Video and DVD?
RECENT activity on fan sites is one of the things that might convince Nick that there is a market for the TR TV Movie. No guarantees, off course, but anything that shows a strong fan base will help our chances. So if you haven't been posting, do it for Jenny!

The Problem of Cartoon Continuity in TV Cartoons
Here at MLAATR we are discouraged from creating long story arcs that carry through several cartoons. The reason? Because we never know what order things are going to air. You will all soon see an example of this on your very own television. The episodes that will start showing this week are, for the most part, Season 2 shows. "Escape from Cluster Prime" was done at the start of Season 3. I made the foolish assumption that Nick was going to air all of Second Season WAAAAYYY before the movie ever played. So in these "new" episodes you will see Vexus and the rest of the Cluster as if the movie never happened. Which, when we made these episodes, it hadn't.

Oops They Did It Again!
As I'm sure many of you noticed, the new show did not premiere at 6 last night. I hope you didn't all turn off the TV in a fit of uncontrollable rage because it started at 6:15. Everybody, including yours truly, had no clue that this would happen. If you've watched the U-Pick program before you're aware that they show things starting at wierd times but you'd think that when they promote something for 6 that they would put it on at 6.
I hope that at least some of you stuck around and saw the first episode. If not they will all repeat on Saturday, or so I'm told. Be aware that similiar shenanigans may happen througout the rest of the week. Please be patient and, hopefully, Teenage Robot should play before we all have to go to sleep.
