The current plan is that we will still be showing our Christmas Special this holiday season with the rest of second season to follow in late Jan or early Feb.
Sorry for the delay with the new episodes, everyone. There are various internal reasons that caused Nick to push the launch of second season. The most important is that they really want to promote the start of new episodes which they have not been able to do this fall. So, although it's a disappointment to all you TR fans, the ads will helpfully create new fans and grow our audience base.
Stay tough and look forward to a special present from the TR crew this November.

EPISODES DELAYED, BUT THIRD SEASON IS A GO! That's right everybody. In a one-two punch of bad news and amazingly good news, we learned yesterday that new episodes of Teenage Robot will NOT air tomorrow as planned, but will be pushed back several months. While this is very disappointing for us and the fans, it is more than offset by the news that we have officially been picked up for a third season! And for you the viewers, that means not only can you look forward to 13 new episodes in Season Two, but there will be ANOTHER 13 episodes for Season Three. TWENTY-SIX NEW EPISODES! Woo-hoo! Hang in there folks and long live Jenny Wakeman!

AN ARTIST AT WORK. Here is one of our world-class storyboard artists hard at work on an upcoming episode of "Teenage Robot." You would think he'd need a pencil or pen to do the work, but he actually has ink surgically inserted into the tips of his fingers so he can draw with nothing but his clenched hands.

WOO-HOO! A DESK! Yes, this is a typical artist's desk here at Teenage robot. Most of the cubicles are filled with the character design sheets and pose sheets you see littering the desk. You might also notice all the post-its all over. Many of the storyboard artists do their rough boards on post-its so they can easily try different ideas, rearrange panels, and toss out the not-so-golden sketches.

MORE SCHOOL ART! - Sometimes after a tour, the kids will draw Jenny back at their school and send us something like this... a big splat with lots of interpretations of XJ9. You probably can't read what's written on it, but one kid wrote "I'm going to jump into the wall at 2:30 today" and another wrote "I'm going to bake a cake with the grossest thing on Earth." Kids!

HALLOWEEN IS COMING! Okay, it's only September, but here at Nick (and at Teenage Robot in particular) this is our favorite holiday and we get started early. We actually had a meeting last month to start planning how we will decorate the Teenage Robot offices for the kids that come through on Halloween. The picture above is just one section of last year's decorations with a Frankenstein's monster Jenny about to rise from the slab. What's in store for this year? You'll have to wait and see...
